Team Treadway was started by friends of the Treadway family in order to help raise support and money for the rehabilitation of Tyler Treadway. In Joseph Treadway's honor, we are keeping alive his dream of healing his brother. Below is Tyler's story written by his loving mother, Angie. Thanks for stopping by!
For those new to Team Treadway, Tyler Treadway was a good ole country boy who made one mistake which almost cost him his life. He went into full cardiac arrest on June 23, 2010 and acquired an anoxic brain injury. He wasn't released from the hospital until November 1, 2010. He requires my 24 hour care.
Tyler is unable to walk, so he uses a wheelchair. He cannot say much, but on a good day he says "momma." We are trying so hard to raise money to get Tyler into hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy which could heal his brain. Joseph was so excited when we started learning about this therapy and the promise and hope it brought to us.....then on the 4th of July, 2013 (Joseph's 16th birthday) our world stopped again. Tyler and I are trying to learn to go on without Joseph. It's the hardest thing I have ever had to do, and I sure didn't want to. Thank you SO much for your support.
